The Brief:

Our client had a number of employees who had been promoted into management roles during the previous year. A one day workshop was required to cover the following:

 

  • Managing for the First Time
  • Managing People
  • Management Communication
  • Performance Management
  • Coaching and Developing Others

 

The CRG Training and Consultancy Solution:

We met with our client to discuss the content of the workshop and to see what outcomes they required. We designed and delivered a bespoke one day interactive workshop that focused on the following:

 

The Roles and Responsibilities of a Manager

What a manager does.

What a manager is expected to focus on and deliver.

The John Adair Action Centred Leadership Model.

 

Effective Management Communication

What communication a manager needs to have with their team and how often.

What is effective communication?

How to give great feedback.

 

Performance Management

What is performance management?

What activities does a manager need to do to manage performance?

What does a manager need to do to achieve great team and individual performance at work?

Understanding underperformance.

CRG Performance Management Model.

How to manage performance and deal with under performance.

How to have difficult conversations that get results.

 

After the Workshop
